This course has been specifically designed and developed to help delegates pass the new Level 2 Physical Intervention Skills element of the National Qualification for Door Supervisors.
The course covers all the learning objectives of the new requirements set by the SIA and provides the essential information to aid delegates through their classroom learning. It is intended to be used in support of the required physical skills training provided by the instructors.
This course is divided into 3 chapters:
- Chapter 1 – The legal and professional implications of using physical intervention
- Chapter 2 – Reducing the risk of harm when using physical intervention
- Chapter 3 – Good practice following physical intervention
